Program Deadlines
Nominations of Citizenship Education Teacher Award
to the post is November 1st. Also the Patriots Pen
and Voice of Democracy entries need to be at the
Post by November 1st. This year’s themes are "Is
There Pride in Serving in Our Military?" for VOD and
"Are You Proud of Your Country?” for Patriots Pen.

Need to pay your annual membership dues, change your
membership information or get a duplicate card?
Under the MY VFW tab of VFW.org tab you can:
Register for eMembership, Renew Annual Membership
Dues, Request a Duplicate Membership Card (Annual
and Life), Change Member Information (Home Address)
or Convert to Life Membership Online.
Note to members: If you wish to change your Post
affiliation, please contact the Post quartermaster.
On this page you can also find Chairman Guides as
well as the Leadership Reference Guide which can
come in handy. It even has information on the
National Convention. Check it out and if you haven’t
yet set up an account yet, it is easy. You need an
email address and your membership number which is
found on your card.

concerning the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Helping Guardsmen & their Families
Family Assistance Centers (FACs) are designed to
assist the families of military service members
during peacetime and during training or
mobilization. A FAC is open to all branches of the
military (Air Guard, Army Guard, Active Duty Army,
Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and all
Reserve Components).
Check with the local FAC and see what you can do to
help out. There is always a need.
